In support of the YSL Beauty Abuse is Not Love programme, which aims to educate 2 million people globally by 2030 on the signs of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), YSL Beauty & UK Charity partner Women’s Aid hosted a livestream panel event on the 21st January 2021 that openly discussed experiences, the warning signs of unhealthy relationships and highlight the support available to help women.

 

The ‘Abuse Is Not Love’ event featured a series of thought-provoking discussions between high-profile experts and survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, with the aim of delivering life-changing help and guidance.

YSL Beauty continues to partner with Women’s Aid joining the fight. The collaboration comes as one in three women (33%) experience Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in their lifetime, with one woman killed by her partner every three days in the US, UK and France. 


Abuse Is Not Love is centered around 3 key pillars :


1)Educating 2 million people on the 9 Key Signs of IPV through international partnerships


2)Funding academic research on the topic to develop thought-leadership around youth and prevention


3)Training YSL Beauty employees and beauty advisors on IPV in the workplace
