CREATE THIS CLASSIC YSL BEAUTY HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOK BY FOLLOWING OUR STEPS.
START WITH A GLOWING FLAWLESS BASE
Step 1: Prep your skin with Touche Éclat Blur Primer -- the easiest way to fake a natural glow (just in case you’ve spent the season burning the candle at both ends). The smoothing gel primer blurs imperfections and will ensure you get hours of wear from your foundation.

Step 2: All Hours Foundation feels as if your skin is bare, but provides 24hr full coverage, so you can choose to party all night with no touch ups necessary. Never mask-like, this a foundation with buildable coverage that looks fresh and smooth on all skin types. Apply with fingers, gently patting and smoothing until skin tone is even and your complexion looks flawless.
Step 3: Swipe our classic highlighting concealer Touche Éclat Illuminating Pen under the eyes to disguise signs of tiredness. Apply to the high points of your face (think brow bones, top of cheekbones and nose) to add dimension and a subtle highlight.
Step 4: Sweep blusher softly across the cheekbones for a pop of colour and radiant finish. We’ve used Couture Blush No. 7.
HOW TO DO THE SMOKY WINGED EYELINER
Step 5: Line the top of your eyelid using our Crushliner Waterproof Eyeliner, we’ve used N1 Noir Intense for an iconic black finish. Wing out the outer corners of the eye with the eyeliner, then, using our Eye Blender Brush No.13 gently smoke out the black eyeliner. Now line the upper and lower waterline and blend at the inner corner with the brush.
Step 6: For extra drama, try the makeup artists secret and apply Matte Mono Eyeshadow in 32 Unaccessible Black over the areas where the eyeliner is placed. Next take a blending brush and blend everything together, leave a negative space in the centre of the eyelid, ready for . . .
Step 7: Use your ring finger to pick up a generous amount of Satin Crush Eyeshadow in 1 Scandalous Beige. Gently tap onto the centre of the eyelid for a bold shimmer, then blend into the outer edges to bring your eye look together perfectly.
Step 8: Finish your iconic eyes with 2 coats of Lash Clash Mascara to add masses of volume. Our patent-pending double conical brush builds up to 200% more lash volume and the thick, creamy black formula won’t budge, making it the ultimate necessity for party season.

Step 9: We’ve finished this look with Rouge Pur Couture The Bold in shade 10 Brazen Nude, a flattering deep browny pink that pulls the look together. You could also break the rules and choose a festive red like 21 Rouge Paradoxe for wow eyes and lips.
